Who we are

Welcome artists and artisans!

Now in its 8th year, Sierra Art Trails has earned a reputation for excellence, and is highly anticipated by repeat visitors and art collectors. Sierra Art Trails (SAT) is the largest and most anticipated arts event in the area, encompassing more than a dozen communities in two counties. Participating artists are featured in the tour catalog, included in a month-long Preview Exhibit, and benefit from an extensive advertising campaign promoting the event. The show attracts art buyers from throughout California and beyond.  By participating you not only promote your own work, you also support your community by making it a place people look forward to visiting!

This year our generous sponsors include with Sierra Telephone, Yosemite Sierra Visitor's Bureau, KJewel Radio, and Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

Our 2010 marketing campaign is well underway! Our ads in Sierra Heritage and Sunset magazines are out, and our color brochure has been mailed out to 1200 potential visitors. SAT 2010 postcards are available.  If you don't have them already, they can be picked up at the Preview Exhibit.  The tour catalog is available on the web site and at many retail locations. Artists can pick up their comp catalog at Williams Gallery West or Stellar Gallery during business hours ( 11 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Sunday ).

Help us to spread the word!  Support your fellow artists and the Art Trails planning committee by promoting yourself and the event weekend.  Encourage friends and family to purchase a catalog.  Consider creating your own postcards, flyers, or posters in preparation for the event. By working together we help insure the weekend will be a success for everyone!

The submission process for 2011 will begin Feb 1, 2011.
