What Is Sierra Art Trails?

Sierra Art Trails is a California non-profit art organization dedicated to supporting artists and artisans, promoting art education, and benefiting our communities through cultural tourism.

The Sierra Art Trails Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour is an annual event in Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties, features the work of a wide range of artists and artisans on display in homes, studios, businesses, and galleries throughout the area. The show draws thousands of visitors to the Sierra Foothills each year.  Sierra Art Trails 2024 is our 21st annual Open Studio Tour.

Sierra Art Trails 2024 will take place two weekends this year! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 4th – 6th and 11th – 13th, 2024, from 10AM to 5 PM.

Pack up your family and friends and come discover our distinctive mountain communities. Sierra Art Trails  is a yearly vacation event for many people.  It is an outstanding chance to visit the Yosemite area, meet the talented artists that live and work here, enjoy the beauty of autumn, stay in comfortable lodgings, and eat at our many fine restaurants.

Sierra Art Trails also offers workshops, demonstrations, lectures, and special exhibits for artists and the general public throughout the year. SAT also raises monies for student sponsorships, scholarships, public art, and other art related projects.
